ABOUT ME

I am a graduate student studying planetary science. Specifically, I study Saturn's atmosphere using data from the Cassini mission (I am shown on the left with snazzy facsimile of this amazing spacecraft). I went to undergraduate school twice; which is not a very smart way to get rich quick, but is a wonderful way to learn about things. I majored in biology, fine art and astrophysics and I have a minor in chemistry. Between degrees, I worked for an amazing science toy company where I got to do lots of wild science activities. I believe strongly in the power of play for all kinds of learning. I also paint (check out my artist website) and I help organize the Art of Planetary Science annual exhibit.

I think the most important things in life are learning, growing and enjoying being on our totally awesome and drop-dead gorgeous planet and I hope to help people with that.
